For Wil York, real estate isn’t just a career—it’s kind of the family business. He grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, surrounded by relatives who built, brokered, and believed in the power of place. You could say stories of shaping Southern cities were part of the dinner table soundtrack.
Wil landed in Charleston in 2002 and eased into Lowcountry life managing food & beverage at the Kiawah Island Club. Thirteen years, countless events, and one life-changing annual review later, a boss told him, “You should really be in real estate.” Not because Wil was chasing commissions, but because of how he handled people—with calm, creativity, and clarity.
So, he took the leap.
Now, with ten years of experience, Wil helps people across Charleston find homes that fit—not just on paper, but in real life. Whether you’re a first-time buyer figuring it all out, or arriving from across the country in search of something slower, simpler, or just more you—he’s here to help you get there, without the hard sell.
Wil brings a quiet, strategic approach to the table. He listens more than he talks. He thinks long-game. And he knows the Charleston market well enough to help you navigate it without losing your mind (or your sense of humor).
He’s currently working toward advanced certifications like ABR, CRS, and CIPS—but more than anything, he’s focused on helping people feel at home here, in every sense of the word.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find Wil digging through vinyl bins, sipping something local, or winding down the day with a slow lap through Hampton Park alongside his wife, Emily, and their rescue pup, Otis.
Not just finding you a house—helping you land where life feels good.
