Scott Turner was born in Williamsport, PA, home of the Little League World Series. He graduated from High School in Rockford, IL, home of the Rockford Peaches, a women’s professional baseball team in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. After graduating from high school he moved to Seabrook Island where he attended College of Charleston. He transferred to Charleston Southern University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a double major in Accounting and Economics.
After working 30 plus years in various accounting roles throughout the Hospitality, Syndication, and Medical industries, he made the switch to real estate. His goal is to help others find their place to call home. One of our biggest investments is our home. Scott considers his home to be a place where he can relax and recharge.
While attending Charleston Southern University he met his wife, Melinda Sweat. She was born and raised in Summerville. Scott and his wife have three children (2 daughters and one son, in addition he has two son-in-laws). Scott has been involved in the community through the years by coaching youth soccer and baseball while the kids were growing up and actively involved in various school and business organizations. His family always kept active between all their sporting activities including but not limited to soccer, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, and football. Scott and his family are active in their church home at Seacoast Church. He and his wife Melinda, own a home decor boutique, Cotton Down South and Southern Surcees Studio, a gift boutique both located in Summerville.
Scott and Melinda enjoy spending time with their family attending sporting events, traveling, and hanging out with their family cats(4) and dogs(3).
