PERSONAL BIO

Having grown up in the foothills of Greenville, SC, I had an affinity for the mountains. But the beach was in my blood!  As a child, I spent a lot of time on Kiawah Island and Folly Beach.  I enjoyed being either in or on the saltwater beaches and marshes of the Lowcountry, fishing, shrimping, and crabbing with my dad. Learning to cast a net and catch our dinner was so cool to me!

Graduating from beach buckets and Hawaiian Tropic floats to beautifully hand-shaped foam and fiberglass surfboards, I found my pillar of happiness, surfing. Traveling and surfing fills my tank and inspires me. Being in the water will always be a place of solitude.

I earned my BA in Applied Psychology from Carson-Newman College in 1998 and after spending a short stint in our sister city to the north, Wilmington, NC I had a good run of 9 years in New York City building a career in fashion, wholesaling designer collections Dolce & Gabbana and John Varvatos.

Moving to Santa Monica, CA in 2010 I joined a friend’s startup brand, Sol Angeles, working as Sales Director for 10 years before coming full circle back to the place that defined me, my homeland. South Carolina.

During my time in California, I was fortunate to find “my girl”.  Having had a destination wedding in Charleston the deal was sealed that this town would be our future home. After being blessed with two beautiful, energetic boys, Beau in 2017 and Luke in 2018, 2020 brought about change for us as it did so many others.  It was time.

My passion is and has always been people.  Understanding what makes each individual happy and adding what I can to their pursuit of that is what makes me tick.  It’s what makes ME happy. Helping people find that magic is my life’s work.  Real estate is where I feel I can make the biggest impact.  Let’s find the magic together.  It’s here.  It’s in the Lowcountry of SC.
