Kristy was born and raised in Lake Wylie, South Carolina, where she grew up visiting beautiful coastal towns, making the College of Charleston an easy choice when it came to her post secondary education. In the past 14 years, she has lived all over Charleston from Folly Beach, to historic downtown, all the way to Sullivan’s Island, developing a deep affinity for the low country and every unique area it has to offer. Several years ago, Kristy and her fiancé Ryan bought their first home on James Island and talk about a fixer upper! With his skills as a general contractor and her passion for interior design, they were able to renovate every inch of their space and not only make it their dream home, but also into a luxury Airbnb rental. This allowed her to learn the intricacies of Charleston county zoning ordinances, building permits, short term rental regulations, and property management. With a true understanding of the ever changing real estate market, paired with Ryan’s renovation expertise, they have created a successful partnership in finding and developing income generating investment properties. This led her to pursue a full time career in real estate where she is dedicated to helping both buyers and sellers meet all of their real estate needs and goals. After personally facing a challenging first time home buying experience, Kristy strives to make any real estate transaction as seamless as possible. With the understanding that buying or selling a home is no small feat, she works diligently and efficiently to take the stress out of the process and allow her clients to enjoy the experience.
