I made the move from New York to Charleston, and it changed everything.
For years, I worked in the technology industry in New York, building a career, building a life. But my wife and I made a decision: we were ready to trade harsh New York winters for warmer days and a slower, easier way of life. Instead of waiting for "the kids to get older" or for the timing to feel perfect, we decided to just make the move. With our three kids in tow, we relocated to Charleston, and something shifted almost instantly. I fell in love with this place, the culture, the pace, the way the historic cobblestone streets give way to wide-open marsh and sandy shores. It's the best of both worlds: city energy and beach-town peace, all in one community.
That move didn't just change where I live. It changed how I want to spend my time, and the kind of future I want to build for my family, one rooted in community, connection, and purpose.
As a Realtor with Carolina One, that's the work I get to do, representing Charleston and its surrounding counties, helping families buy their dream home or sell a cherished property in a way that feels seamless, not stressful.
What drives me, though, goes beyond the transaction.
