MIKE SIMMONS

After working in both the US and International markets for over 35 years in executive positions including CEO and President for both public and private companies, Mike and his wife, Janet decided to leave New York City and relocate to the Isle of Palms/Wild Dunes and the Charleston area in 2013. After four years they moved to Daniel Island where they resided for over seven years, before moving to Summerville in late 2024. Through our moves and experiences we have a complete understanding and love for The Lowcountry.

The real estate industry has provided Mike with the opportunity to share his experience and skills, but most of all help people with their most important asset - their home. His experience in buying and selling many homes both in the US and internationally, understanding and listening to clients' requirements, a proven ability to negotiate and find the right solutions and, most of all, his desire to help people led me to a career for the next phase of my life - real estate.  Whether you are buying or selling your home either in Charleston or elsewhere, I am here to work with you to find the right solution for you and your family!

Mike joined Carolina One almost 13 years ago and has earned several designations including being a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and a Resort and Second Home Specialist over that period. More importantly, he has had the honor and opportunity to help many families find their dream home and discover the beauty of The Lowcountry.

The Charleston area -- from the beautiful barrier islands like Isle of Palms, Kiawah, and Sullivan’s Island to the historic and beautiful downtown, to Daniels Island, and the rest of the Low Country -- offers something for everyone. KATIE TARRANT

Katie Tarrant is a Maryland native and attended Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland earning a BBA and MBA. She married her husband, Steve in 1989 and raised two sons in the Northern Virginia area. After many family vacations to the Lowcountry, she and Steve finally made their way to Charleston, SC in 2017.

 Katie owned and operated a property management company in Columbia, SC. After selling her company in 2018, it felt like a logical transition to make the move to Residential Real Estate sales. With a deep love for the area, she is dedicated to helping clients find their perfect slice of Southern charm.

Education has always been important to her. Prior to owning her property management company, she worked full-time with Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia.  She’s dedicated to continuing education courses through the National Association of REALTORS® to further her Real Estate knowledge and stay on the forefront of a continually changing industry.

DAVID BROWN

David Brown enjoys working with buyers, sellers and investors in the Lowcountry searching for great weather, beautiful homes and Southern charm. He is originally from the New York City, New Jersey region.   David specializes in the Charleston Lowcountry market and takes pride in helping clients feel informed, at ease and confident throughout the sales process.

With an MBA in Organizational Behavior (concentration in finance), BA in Psychology and over 30 years of combined experience in finance, higher education, and customer focused roles, David brings a thoughtful, consultative approach to real estate. He is known for his ability to listen, understand individual needs, and tailor solutions that align with each client’s goal: whether selling or  purchasing a home, investment or retirement property.  As a Division 1 basketball player, he understands the importance of working together for a common purpose.  When selling a home he offers staging solutions to maximize the value of your property and accelerate the sales process.
