Hello, thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me!
I grew up on a family farm in Minnesota with nine siblings, me being the youngest. I moved to Charleston in 2015, primarily because I love the longer seasons of spring and fall’s warmer weather. There are a lot of good farmers markets with locally grown produce, unique handmade crafted items and live local music groups to check out. I would rather be outdoors exploring this great city or finding a new place to dine, but I do love to create a meal in the kitchen with great tasting foods and better yet, to share it with someone! I have recently joined the local Elks club, and am looking forward to participating in their fundraisers to help the community.
I have one daughter who is married, they have two children and I love being their Lola (grandma) . It is a wonderful feeling to watch my child raise her children, and knowing that I get to spoil them.
I have an associates degree in business administration and culinary arts, I started out as a property manager and then chose to move over to my Real Estate career. I have found that it is not necessarily what you do for a profession but what you give and get from it. The giving and the satisfaction of bringing happiness to someone or a family is what makes one a great professional, not necessarily the job itself.
Just as growing up on the farm, one learns to appreciate the small things in life, the things that make you feel comfortable and at home.
Thanks again for reading and hope we meet soon!
