Born and raised in Charleston, I am a true local with deep roots in West Ashley and James Island. My educational background includes a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master's in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston. I've been National Board Certified in Early Childhood since 2004 and am a retired CCSD kindergarten teacher, having dedicated 25 years to the classroom. Many families knew me as Ms. Weatherford, Ms. Patterson at St. Andrew's Elementary or James Island Elementary, and some know me as “Mrs. Rudloff” since I married John Rudloff (also a realtor). It was an immense honor to work with the children and families of the Lowcountry, and transitioning from such a meaningful role was incredibly difficult.Now, I leverage my experience to help families navigate significant life decisions regarding their homes and real estate investments.
John and I have 4 children altogether and 3 fur babies. My step children are grown young adults living their best life here in town. My son, a Clemson University graduate, is pursuing a career as a federal agent, and my daughter attends the College of Charleston. I cherish time with all of them, enjoy yard work, crafting, and other creative pursuits, and especially love relaxing on the beach, boat, or our back porch with loved ones.
My character and strong work ethic are built upon conservative, Christian family values. Rigorous training, professional development, and my long career in early childhood education have also kept me grounded with purpose. I've found that the values I developed – integrity, accuracy, and quality – transcend education and are equally vital in real estate and life.
Real estate has been a foundational element throughout my life, both growing up and in my marriage. I have been actively involved in this career since my retirement in 2022, though I initially obtained my license in 2016. My path is enriched by a powerful legacy: my mother, Jill Weatherford, has been a pillar of excellence at Carolina One since 1984, recognized as a top producer and a recipient of the Carolina One lifetime achievement award. My husband, who most know as "Rudy," is also a highly acclaimed top producer in the Charleston area with over 20 years of success. Surrounded by such achievements, my experiences and unwavering commitment to the Lowcountry reinforce my dedication to ethical real estate service.
